Professional regulatory hearings

Most professionals are dedicated to performing well in their chosen discipline. Some individuals, however, may encounter performance issues at various stages in their career. Performance issues can arise for a multitude of reasons. Often the reason relates to specific behaviours and attitudes that may not be recognised by the individuals themselves as inappropriate but are deemed to fall short of the standards required by their governing body. This can result in a complaint leading to disciplinary action and presentation in front of a regulatory body.

At disciplinary hearings sanctions may be imposed where individuals demonstrate insufficient insight into their misconduct
